Tuesday March 9th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (19-3) defeated Kellogg Community College (0-5) from Battle Creek, MI by a score of 14-4 today at Bengal Stadium. Joe Fabre (2-0) earned the win pitching six innings, allowing seven hits, two runs, and two walks while striking out six.
Eldred Barnett led a sixteen hit attack going 4-for-4 with a double, a triple, and three runs scored. Ryan Broussard went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI’s, and Jordan Bourque hit two homeruns and added five RBI’s.
LSU Eunice and Kellogg will meet again on Thursday at Bengal Stadium with a doubleheader set to begin at 4 pm.
