Friday February 19th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (9-0) defeated Galveston College from Galveston, TX by a score of 11-5. Chance Mistric (3-0) earned the win pitching five innings, allowing three hits and no earned runs with one walk allowed and seven strikeouts. Micah Gautreau of St. Amant pitched a scoreless ninth inning to finish the game. 
The Bengals were led at the plate by Jordan Bourque and Brook Boudreaux, both of Teurlings Catholic. Bourque went 2-for-4 with four runs scored and Boudreaux went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Raph Rhymes of Neville added three hits and two RBI’s. 
The two teams meet again for a doubleheader set to begin at 1 pm. Tomorrow’s games will complete the scheduled three game weekend series.
