COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – All three LSU Eunice athletic teams are currently ranked in NJCAA Division II national polls.

The Lady Bengal basketball team currently holds the 17th spot in the national poll. The girls have a 13-7 record and have qualified for a regional playoff game in Oklahoma later this season. The winner of the playoff game will advance to the Regional Tournament in Kansas and could earn a spot in the NJCAA National Championship in East Peoria, Illinois.

In preseason polls released this week by the NJCAA, both softball and baseball have earned a spot. Both teams advanced to the National Championship last season.

The baseball team earned a number one ranking in the NJCAA National Division II pre-season poll. The boys open play this week in Texas in the San Jacinto College Tournament.  Perfect Game USA has released their Junior College pre-season ranking which ranks all Junior Colleges from all levels and includes California and the Northwest.  LSU Eunice is ranked eighth in that poll.

The softball team has been named to the number 11 spot in the NJCAA national poll. The girls will travel to Galveston to open play in the Galveston Tournament this week.
